Woohoo! I finally found my blog again. I named this blog 'life changing' quite some time ago because my life was changing. I thought my life was changing back then....wow! Now I know what 'life changing' is all about!
My son, Jackson, the most important thing in life! He was born June 20th at 36 weeks. He was technically a preemie, but he's very strong! Other than a bout of jaundice, he was perfect and still is!
On the WW front, I'm now a leader! I love it! However, I'm above my goal right now because of Jack. I tried getting the weight off, but my milk supply dropped. Feeding him is more important to me.
We've also put an offer in on a house. They counteroffered today, so in the morning we are submitting another offer. Its a cute house in a nice neighborhood. It needs some work, but we love it!
I think, revisiting my blog, I'm gonna focus on these three topics. Weight watchers, Jack, and a housebuying/renovating journey.

Life changing, yet again.
I just realized I hadn't posted in a long time. I lost 33.8 pounds, maintained it for the 6 weeks and gained my lifetime membership! I got hired to work for Weight Watchers as a leader and I'm starting my training process soon.
And the biggest life changing news I have ever gotten....I'M PREGNANT!!!! We conceived on our wedding night. I've always heard that losing weight helps your fertility....it must be true, because we weren't really trying....just got caught up in the moment and didn't protect once. We are happy about it (heck, we planned to try right away, but I got scared) So YAY!

Lost 4 pounds!
This week (well, not quite a week. Saturday through Thursday) I lost 4 pounds! The weight practically fell off me since Saturday! I started a new BC pill, as I've posted about, and this week is my placebo week. The last week of the hormone pill I was frustrated with WW, so I was working out 45+ minutes 4-5 days a week and tracking everything! Well, this week I continued the working out a bunch and TRACKING EVERYTHING! And it finally worked! I know 4 pounds is more than they recommend, but I didn't expect what wasn't working last week to work this week. The last meeting I lost .8 and I did the exact same thing this past week and lost 4.
I'm going camping this weekend with some friends. I never realized how bad trail mix is point-wise! Last year we went on a 6 hour hike and I know the benefit of trail mix! (energy!) So I made my own, so I know the points. With all the nuts and dried fruit....my sandwich bag full is 20 points!!! I only get 23 a day, now! But allowance points will be used this weekend! But its nutritious for the 20 points! There is no chocolate or anything. Just low-fat granola, nuts, dried fruit.
Well, I have to get up early tomorrow, my car is getting fixed at 8am. The windshield wipers aren't working, its not a fuse, tried to change it....the repairman says its the multi-function switch and will be about $200. This sucks!

Bit of BC rant.
Okay, so I had BC issues and the doctor changed my pill. While on Ortho Tricyclen lo, I had no issues with Weight Watchers....I was losing weight normally. Doctor changed me to Ortho Cyclen (the monophasic one)...I got the generic Sprintec. I took it for the month...Weight Watchers was SO MUCH HARDER!!!!! I googled 'ortho cyclen and weight gain' and all the sites say that it doesn't cause weight gain. If you gain its because of other factors....such as not exercising or poor diet. WELL, I was working out AT LEAST 45 minutes a day and staying within my points with hardly any allowance points used all month. (and I retook the quiz, and I lost a point) First week on the pill, I did lose. The next week...nothing! The next week (technically a week and a half due to going to a different meeting) and I only lost .8 in a week and a half.....GRR!!!!

More weight loss
So, last week I lost 1.2 pounds....somehow. I tracked my food, but I didn't make good choices. I used all 35 allowance points within the first few days, and still went over points everyday. Day 1 of the week, I had 51 points. Oops. I did not go on any walks or anything. I just layed around with girly issues. (which could have been the root of my weight loss, blood, lol, sorry, TMI)
This week, I've taken a personal challenge....to be PERFECT on Weight Watchers this week (starting Friday and ending on Thursday (day after weigh-in to weigh in). To get ALL of my fruits, veggies, milks, oils, whole grains, exercise, waters, multivitamins, proteins and so on that are the guidelines for WW ....which I've been neglecting sometimes because of too many points. I want to do this AND stay within my 25 daily points. Yesterday, I was perfect! I ate my 25 points, and got ALL my boxes checked off!!! Today, 25 points and ALL my boxes checked again! (That includes the 3 milks! Which, according to WW, I am in the 2 milk category, but the girly doctor told me, if I want to have babies in the next year, to make sure I get 3 milks....so thats what I'm doing) AND I've walked over 11,000 steps today! Yesterday, I only had slightly over 8,000, but I didn't have my pedometer on all day. So I had more....but I've had 2 perfect days on Weight Watchers so far!!!!
On a personal note, my GODSON was born Wednesday!!!!! And my FH is at a Beer and Diaper party for another groomsman of ours, whose wife is expecting next month....apparently, a Beer and Diaper Party is the boy's equivalence of a Baby Shower, lol. :-)

Computer issues. Girly issues. Life.
So, I know I've lacked posts lately. My computer DIED! It just sits there, wont boot up and it will just beep non-stop with a black screen. Its dead.
I did, however, buy a fancy new laptop! By 'fancy', I mean cheap. I love it, but it was pretty cheap in the laptop world.
What have I been up to lately? Not much. Not much at all.
In the Weight Watcher's world....I have lost 20.0 pounds so far!!!! I hit my 10% goal and I got a celebration at the meeting! It was one of the greatest feelings on earth! Sadly, I haven't done much of WWs this week. I've relaxed it a bit which sucks! According to Wii Fit, I've only lost .2 since Thursday. This is Tuesday. So not too good for me. But hey, oh well. I've also had girly issues that would lead to some water-retension and weight gain.
Speaking of girly issues, I'm so sick of them!!!! TMI from this point on! TMI ALERT! So, I started taking 'The Pill' about 5-6 months ago. I started them right after I got engaged. I started them because we didn't want a honeymoon baby. Well, as we are getting closer to our wedding, we've decided a honeymoon baby would be pretty cool! But I was going to stay on the pill.
Last month, my period was very VERY heavy and I spotted for about 5 days before it actually started. I had never spotted before. So I was just a bit confused about that. Then almost 2 weeks later, I GOT ANOTHER PERIOD! I had SEVERE cramps with this one, and I was in the middle of my pills! I should not have been bleeding! It wasn't light bleeding, but it wasn't HEAVY either....it was like my normal period, just in the middle of my cycle.....but it lasted 7 full days (normal is about 5-6) and then I had spotting for another 3 days. And now I'm done with the hormone pills and started the placebo pills and I should start my period again any day now.
I have an appointment with a gyno on Thursday. I'm wondering if the weight loss could do this...but the more Adam and I talk about options, we've decided that I'll go off my pills. And we won't do anything again until we are married. And then start trying for a little one shortly after we are married. We'll see what the doc. says.

Our Best Man and his wife are expecting a little one! They've asked us to be Godparents and she's being induced tomorrow! I'll be a Godmother tomorrow!!!!!

WW again.
So, Thursday's weigh in went way different than I expected. It was a rough week....I went out with FH and our Best Man and his wife. I had ice cream two days in a row....not just ice cream....sundae and a flurry (like a blizzard). SO not healthy....SO delicious. I ate at a fancy restaurant where I looked up their nutrition facts and one meal was over 5000 calories! EEK! Luckily, I did my research and got the lowest calorie item on the menu. I LOST 2.6 pounds!!!!! Not sure how! I'm not arguing, though. I've lost a total of 13 pounds so far! I've been doing this a month now!
This week, I'm going to be scared. I kinda got off track....I didn't track my foods since Friday....its currently Monday. I ate a lot! I decided to go back and figure out my points, well, I know my memory isn't the best, and what I remember eating....Friday, 30.5, Saturday 26.5, Sunday 40, today was 35. I'm allowed 25 points a day. I have 3 allowance points left....this is terrible! I feel more on track now that I got caught up with my tracking and I've been reading the message boards on WW's website. The bad news, my Wii fit says I've gained weight since Thursday. And its been pretty accurate these last few weeks. So I gotta get back on track!!!
